In addition to the information about me, on the Voice Over Artist-Skip Orem home page, here’s some more information about me.
I have worked in radio, and I’ve been doing voice overs for more than 15 years. My natural voice accent is Non-Regional American. I can do voices in the young, middle-age, and senior adult range. I can also do voices with a generic southern US accent.
I’m a graduate of The Ohio State University. In addition I have had significant training in voice acting and audio engineering.
I’m the owner of GPOD AUDIO PRODUCTION. As an experienced sound engineer, I’m able to provide professionally edited, studio quality, sound files, delivered in your preferred format. This includes the production of music and sound effects. My studio has state of the art microphones and equipment. Sound editing is done through Adobe Audition software. My studio includes a Skype Connection which provides clients the ability to direct me live, while I am doing their project. I also own the rights to an extensive collection of background music and FX, which can be used in the production of my voice overs.
I am willing to travel to any studio of your choice, anywhere.
I’m also a marathon runner and “fitness geek”. I produce and host The Get Fit Pod, one of the most popular fitness podcasts on iTunes. You can learn more about that by clicking on the Podcast tab.
